diferentele nu sunt mari: supape si scaune supape inoxidabile, un preincalzitor pt. combustibil, un soft adecvat.
aceste masini merg lejer si cu benzina "normala" E15 (15% etanol) cum avem si noi.
alte avantaje sunt pretul mai mic al bioetanolului (oarecum compensat la buzunar de un consum mai mare) si o putere sporita a motorului.

ce nu am inteles deloc este faptul ca in Finlanda si Estonia, cand am fost acum recent, erau foarte multe masini pe benzina, enorm de multe, si capacitati mari nu 1.6 sau 1.8. In Estonia spre exemplu rar am vazut Skoda sau VW, insa Forduri ceva mai multe si majoritatea Focus si Mondeo.

renault megane 1 are suspensie independenta simpla (rotile se misca independent in inaltime dar planurile lor sunt constant paralele). fara arcuri elicoidale, cu bara de torsiune pe nuturi. aceasta suspensie a aparut pe R5, R11, R19, R21 cu multi ani inainte.
renault megane 2 si 3 au suspensie semiindependenta. cu arcuri elicoidale si punte semirigida.
