Pe asfalt un RWD este mai eficient .. la fel depinde si de ce competitii este vorba .. insa sa nu traiesti cu impresia ca un 4*4 este superior in orice conditii unei masini cu tractiune spate.
Faptul ca fuge fundul(in anumite limite) este un avantaj chiar.

Cit timp se merge pe asfalt uscat totul e frumos, dar cind e vorba de ploaie de exemplu, in curbe, un RWD pierde mai mult aderenta decit un 4x4.

Observi vreo diferenta de timp? Lungime: 3,750 km. Te rog, nu mai incerca explicatii la Coasta pentru ca aici nu o nimeresti. Cauta sa scoti in evidenta raliurile pentru ca acolo 4x4 este in avantaj. Exceptie cand unii piloti sunt pur si simplu "pansati", iar altii au un pic de tupeu cu FWD (vezi echipajul Keleti / Ponta) si urca in clasament. Mici exceptii mai apar prin Italia unde, gratie drumurilor foarte inguste, dupa o gloata de S2000-uri (evident 4x4), incep sa apara FWD de genul Clio R3, C2R2 etc.

Pacat ca nu am vazut pe la noi Ford RS200 in competitii. Ar fi fost interesant de vazut cam pe unde s-ar fi clasat.

Cum spuneam anterior, cind mergi pe asfalt uscat e OK. Cind e vorba de ploaie, macadam, zapada, se schimba datele problemei. Masinile din WRC sint mai flexibile in utilizare decit cele din DTM.

Mașini de raliu vs mașini DTM mi se pare un nonsens. E ca și cînd ai compara mere cu pere - pe circuit aderenta este aproape perfecta într-un raliu mai ales pe macadam este aproape imperfecta dacă pot sa spun asa.
Necesitatea de a avea sau nu 4wd o da pana la urma destinația mașinii.

Comparatia WRC vs DTM nu mi se pare exagerata fiindca ambele se bazeaza pe masini de sosea produse in serie. Daca comparam Formula 1 cu monster truck puteam sa spunem ca e mare diferenta.

moama frate cum am citit eu pana la 2:53 topicu, am dat-o din filmulet in filmulet, da totusi nu inteleg de ce la un moment dat, a fost o "prima" masina tractiune fata (FWD) si a fost considerata mai buna, apoi marea majoritate a companiilor au adoptat, sa zice tehnica asta :-/

O masina FWD, in conditii normale de trafic, este mai ieftina decat una AWD si mai sigura decat una RWD. Mai sigura pe mainile unor soferi, nu a unor piloti.

Normal ca o masina FWD e mai ieftina decit una cu tractiune integrala, de aceea si sint mai multe.
Am vazut undeva o caracterizare: FWD e pentru toata lumea, RWD pentru cei cu experienta, 4WD pentru cei cu bani. :)
E interesant ca se ofera optinuea 4x4 pina si la unele masini mici gen FIAT Panda, care e masina de oras.

FWD e petnru masinile mai ieftine, si este foarte buna si pe zapada si pe asfalt uscat, iar la acvaplanare o consider excelenta. dezavantajele le stiu toti si pe uscat si pe orice suprafata.
4WD, avantajele si dezavantajele lui FWD plus stabilitate mai buna in curbe, pe zapada o consider putin periculoasa daca incerci aderenta soselei. Parca accelereaza mai tare decat poate oprii. Dar daca mergi fara sa incerci aderenta merge cam la fel de bine ca FWD, si ca avantaj ramai mai greu impotmolit in zapada. dar consuma mai mult, masina e mai grea si e ca si cand ai merge vara incaltat cu bocanci de iarna.
RWD o punte asigura doar tractiunea (sau propulsia cum le place unora) iar alta se ocupa doar cu directia. Are avantaje mari in comparatie cu celalalte doua pe asfalt uscat, iar la un mers normal cu anvelope adecvate este la fel de buna ca celalalte, insa ai sanse mai mari sa ramai impotmolit in zapada decat oricare alt tip de tractiune.

Si cum in Romania, si mai la sud de noi si chiar si putin la nord drumurile nu sunt inzapezite decat cateva zile pe an, iar umezeala nu este chiar o problema daca nu incerci sa mergi ca la raliu, tractiunea RWD este alegerea mea. Si nu ai nevoie de o exeperienta vasta sa o stapanesti, daca mergi ca omul si nu ca pilotul, nici nu o sa ai ce sa stapanesti diferenta fiind ca nu vei simti niciodata torqsteer asa cum se intampla cu FWD sau AWD/4WD/4x4.

Eu te inteleg, si stiu destul de bine si ce a fost in ultima iarna, chiar daca nu am fost aici sa vad, insa daca drumurile sunt blocate poti sa ai si un H1, ca nu treci, iar daca drumul este practicabil, poti trece si cu RWD cu anvelope de iarna daca nu te aventurezi in cei mai mari nameti. Si in orice caz, iarna asta a fost speciala, dar drumurile nu au fost blocate mai mult de 30 de zile.

In iarna trecuta nu te ajuta nici un AWD de pe masinile "de oras". Hai sa fim corecti, nu patimasi.

Sa fim seriosi ca nu iti trebuie nameti imensi ci doar strazile care nu vad plugul ca sa ramai cu rwd agatat. Asta iarna m-am chinuit 1 ora cu e90 sa ies din spatele blocului . Si aveam lopata si michelin alpin in dotare. Sincer eu cred ca pana si fwd este mai bun iarna decat rwd.

Si eu zic ca dintre cele trei categorii, RWD sint cele mai proaste pe zapada. Majoritatea masinilor FWD si RWD au in plus diferentialul liber. Unele au controlul tractiunii, dar nu e la fel de bun ca si un diferential LSD, care s-a pus la unele modele de virf.

Firma Quaife din Marea Britanie http://www.quaife.co.uk/ produce un tip de diferential ce se numeste ATB (Automatic Torque Biasing), care preia o parte din cuplul ce se transmite catre roata care patineaza si-l transmite catre roata care are aderenta mai buna. Pare sistemul ideal. Insa in conditii extreme, cind o roata are tractiune zero sau aproape zero, si cealalta roata are tractiune buna, se comporta ca un dif liber, fiindca lucreaza cu diferenta de cuplu, nu cu diferenta de viteza ca la un LSD cu viscocuplaj, la care chiar daca o roata ramine suspendata in aer, se va invirti si cealalta roata. Similar cu ATB e si sistemul Torsen de la Audi, Lancia, ...
Un LSD cu viscocuplaj nu e la fel de eficient din punct de vedere a utilizarii puterii, dar in schimb in conditii extreme iti va invirti ambele roti.

Ca o mentiune, la Focus RS este dif ATB de la Quaife, iar la Sierra Cosworth RWD este LSD cu viscocuplaj. Ar fi interesant un test intre cele doua pe zapada, fiindca FWD este mai bun decit RWD, dar VC este mai bun decit ATB.

Nu prea ar fi, pentru ca nu iei masini din astea sa o bagi in nu stiu ce nameti. Ori masina buna la toate (sa mearga ca un Veyron pe strada si ca un Unimog pe nameti) inca nu exista. Pe zapada, LSD-ul ala cu viscocuplajul pe RWD ajuta doar daca ai diferenta de suprafete intre roti. Ceea ce se intampla rar, in viata reala.

Situatiile constante sunt cele in care Fwd cu gume de iarna bune este mai bun decat rwd cu gume de iarna . Iar Awd este clar the best iarna .
