MADRID, Spain – The new C-MAX and Grand C-MAX are the stars of the Ford stand at the International Eco-friendly Vehicle and Sustainable Mobility Show, which opens today in Madrid for three days. The models will go on sale in Spain in the final quarter of the year.
The new models will be especially popular among show visitors following an announcement earlier this month by Ford of Europe chief John Fleming that Hybrid and Plug-In Hybrid versions of the five-seat C-MAX compact will be manufactured in Spain in 2013.
Further emphasising Ford's commitment to electric vehicles and increased motoring sustainability, the stand will display the Focus Battery Electric Vehicle and Ford's range of ECOnetic Technologies. Visitors will have the opportunity to get up-close to new EcoBoost engines, Powershift transmissions and a number of high efficiency driving aids and learn more about them from a series of graphic and informative modular presentations.
The show is also the ideal showcase for the innovative Econo Check programme, which aims at showing motorists how to optimise fuel efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions by following simple maintenance tips and adopting an economic driving style.

stirea era si pe media.ford.com, acum cca 2 saptamini, INSA productia de serie pt noul Cmax si Grande Cmax hibride, pentru europa, va incepe in 2012
LE vad ca articolul spune de 2013 ... probabil productia incepe la finele lui 2012 si comercializarea in 2013
