Race Driver: GRID will take players to beautifully realised and dramatic race locations over three continents to compete in an unprecedented variety of racing events. Packed with the most powerful race cars – new and classic, circuit and drift – players will compete to conquer the most prestigious official race tracks and championships and then go beyond to compete in challenging city-based competitions, through to road events and urban street races.
In Europe, race gamers will compete on the greatest official tracks in prestige Marques including Aston Martin, Koenigsegg and Pagani.

Iconic cities across the U.S. – including San Francisco, Washington DC and Detroit and each with their own atmosphere and events – play hosts to diverse street races. Here, high-performance V8 muscle cars set the pace in aggressive closely fought pack competitions.

In the Far East, Japanese racing culture sets the tone where night races, including Drift racing, take drivers through neon illuminated cities and to outlying mountain roads. There is also the opportunity to compete in races that operate on the fringes of legality in the back streets and industrial areas of Yokohama.

Later edit: Va zic primele impresii: in conditiile in care asta e doar demo si Codemasters zice clar ca nu reprezinta nicidecum produsul finit, il pun clar pe lista de cumparaturi! M-am dat cu BMW-ul 320i de WTCC si masina se misca absolut criminal, si asta pe taste! Mi-e si frica sa bag volanul!!!

Imi place si mie mult cum se misca jocu doar ca nu prea se impaca cu placa mea ATI, are destule "erori" grafice

Ce placa ai si ce driver? Eu am tot ATi cu Catalyst 8.4 si merge impecabil!

Da, e pe lista de placi... Probabil ca fiind demo mai au de lucru pana la versiunea finala. Dar ce anume iti face?

meniul imi merge naspa, greu si face tot felu de fite...nu stiu cum sa-ti explic
in joc imi apar camioane pe traseu, masinile apar aiurea, etc etc
acum l-am reinstalat, sa vad ce mai zice...

hopa acum am citit in readme ca placile x1xxx impreuna cu 8.3 si 8.4 cauzeaza probleme grafice.

nu cred ca sistemul e problema ci driverul uite ce am si eu:
x2 3800+, 2gb ram, ati 1650 pro (ddr3 ), spatiu am garla, windows xp sp2 cu directx 9.0c(din martie parca)

l-am reinstalat dar tot degeaba, am parte de corupere grafica (daca asa se traduce )

Hmmm, ciudat. E adevarat ca eu am Vista si nici un XP in zona sa testez... Poate apare un patch sau driver nou...

in readme scrie ca versiunea catalyst 8.5 rezolva problemele dar pana nu apare oficial eu nu o instalez.

OK, dupa cateva zile de "dat" pe net, vreau sa alerg si eu cu cunoscuti... Ce am remarcat?

- daca esti prea bun, ti se da kick
- daca conduci corect, se intra in tine pe unde se apuca
- mergi pe drum DREPT, te ia in plin din spate!
- iei curba pe trasa ideala (care SE VEDE pe asfalt!), vine unu ca trenu' si trece prin tine!
- pui frana sa nu il lovesti pe ala din fata, trosc!
- desigur, la astea de mai sus, primesti si multe injuraturi ca "nu stii sa conduci etc"
- sunt destui care "se dau" doar de-ai dreaku', sa faca haos. Explicatia? "E doar un joc!"

Deci, facem sau nu un meci cum trebuie??

Viper, poate se bat oamenii pt. bmw, toți cocalarii.com și pițipoancele.ro sunt acolo grămadă să conducă(up, left, right, down) - it's just a game

OK, poate imi explica si mie cineva de ce in cursa sunt momente cand masina incetineste... Parca da careva cu un power-up in ReVolt si incetineste masina... Parca e o bula de timp... Puii mei, intai am crezut ca am pe unu in spate la drafting dar era pustiu... Si patesc asta si in single player, si in multiplayer!

Am încercat și eu jocul pe un laptop dual core 2ghz, 2gb ram, radeon x1400 și mergea varză și la cele mai mici setări video. Next time Mă mulțumesc cu TmNationsForever.

Intrebare: se indoaie masinile la acrosari/accidente? Sau doar se zgaraie autocolantele?

Ai 3 setari de damage. La cea maxima ai pus-o... La cea "medie" e foarte ok, realismul e enervant uneori... Aripa indoita care "roade" guma si nu te lasa sa virezi, si in final plezneste guma... Oglinda exterioara sparta in zeci de bucatele si vezi ca musca La capitolul damage sta excelent.

Diseara pun volanul, nu mai tine cu tastatura... La NFS mai mergea, mai luai o curab cu peretele, aici daca te lipesti de perete sufera directia, suspensiile etc...

am un prieten redactor la pc games cica a luat nota 92 la suta jocul nici un joc cu masini nu a luat atat pana acum
