Bucharest Ring S.R.L has issued a statement relating to the cancellation of the Bucharest Challenge 2009, 5th round of the 2009 FIA GT Championship. A replacement round is planned for August 29th and 30th, at the Hungaroring, near Budapest, Hungary. This change will be presented to the FIA World Motor Sport Council for approval on June 22nd. Please note that the new event would adopt the traditional two-hour format, instead of the one-hour races designed for the street circuit. The event will be a two-day event, taking place over the Saturday and Sunday

Am vazut ieri la stiri.
Consider ca e mai bine asa avand in vedere locatia in care se desfasura cat si toate masurile care se luau in consecinta cu aceasta organiare.

"Aprob pozitiv" decizia de eliminare a etapei de la Bucuresti.
Saracu' oprescu si consiliu lu' peste habar nu au cate injuraturi si blesteme le-am ridicat anul trecut!!!

Suntem vai de mama noastra rad Ungurii si cu curul de noi(oricum sunt la ani lumina distanta fata de noi). Nu suntem in stare de nimic, nici macar sa organizam un nenorocit de spectacol auto. Vai de noi...

Asa cum se face stadion de fotbal sa se faca si circuit polivalent, pe litoral de ex. pt. ca exista un aeroport pricajit, o autostrada pricajita si o capacitate mare de cazare&servicii si sa vina din 2 in 2 luni cate o competitie auto&moto de mare anvergura.

$2strazile din jurul parlamentului au fost reabilitate pe banii firmei organizatoare.

Or fi fost alea reabilitate pe banii lor dar dupa cum se prezinta au fost reabilitate de firme romanesti. Nici nu vreau sa ma gandesc ce senzatie de disconfort poti sa ai intr-o masina de curse pe acele strazi pline de hopuri. Cred ca pilotii de la cursele trecute au resimtit o oboseala dupa cursa mai mare decat in mod normal.

Ei bine, daca urmareai declaratiile din 2007 si 2008, toti, dar toti, au spus ca le-a placut cel mai mult din toate! Chiar daca nu o fi fost el asfaltul lin ca o foaie de tabla...

Sa fim seriosi... au declarat din complezenta in ceea ce priveste traseul. Cat despre placut per ansamblu ii cred ca le-a placut, banuind ca au avut parte de primiri ospitaliere din partea frumusetilor neamului

Nu erau declaratii de complezenta, erau pe site-urile oficiale FIA GT, FIA GT3 (pentru 2007) si Formula 3 Britanica. Au spus si ca a fost cel mai dur, si cel mai stresant dpdv sportiv, si tocmai de aia le-a placut mult.

Aici ii cred avand in vedere ca la un moment dat finalizarea cursei unora dintre ei era sub semnul intrebarii din cauza unor vizitatori patrupezi din pricina carora riscau sa-si avarieze masinile substantial

LOL, iar discutia aia nesfarsita cu cainele? Sa dau niste pagini inapoi (sau nu e pe forumul asta...) si sa pun lista cu intamplari asemanatoare din alte curse, mult mai "galonate"? Si unele cu final dramatic?

Una peste alta daca gaseau si ei o locatie mai de doamne ajuta nu m-ar fi deranjat
Locul curselor e pe circuit nu pe strazi desi in cazul Monaco se poate face o exceptie

Si al Valenciei. Si Montreal. Si al Singapore. Si Macau. Si... Si... Si... Nu de alta dar sunt ENORM de multe circuite de oras, doar ca nu sunt in F1 si nu le stiu decat pasionatii. Aia nu caraie cand le blocheaza circulatia...

AF Corse Motorola's Dirk Müller is also looking forward to the weekend : "I’m very excited about this weekend. Street circuits suit me, I don’t know why. I have raced in street circuits twice in America so far this year, and I’ve raced in the Macau. For sure everybody needs some luck, because any slightly mistake can make you look quite poor. You have to be very concentrated, very exact, or you will get eaten by the walls – and they look very hungry.�
