Preturi din UK. Este un pic mai ieftin decat vechiul Mondy.
Deci, carcotasilor li s-a inchis gura.
The new Mondeo will be even cheaper than the model it replaces when it goes on sale in the UK on May 17.
The new hatch starts at just £14,995 on the road for the 1.6-litre petrol model in base ‘Edge’ trim and with 110bhp. The 125bhp version of the same car costs £15,695 - £500 less than the 125bhp 1.8-litre LX version of the old Mondeo.
It’s the same story elsewhere in the range. The new 100bhp 1.8 TDCi starts at £16,495, £200 less than the old 90bhp 2.0-litre TDCi.
Four trim levels will be available; Edge, Zetec, Ghia and Titanium X, and three body styles; four-door saloon, five-door hatch and five-door estate. The saloon and hatch cost the same, while the estate commands a £1250 premium. Zetec trim costs £2200 more than Edge, Ghia £1250 more than Zetec, and Titanium X £2000 more than Ghia.
The Edge comes with 16-inch steel wheels as standard; all other models get 17-inch alloys except for the 18-inch-equipped Titanium.
Sports suspension is a £150 option, while the Zetec model can be ordered with a kit including sports suspension, 17-inch alloys and a rear spoiler for £500. There is as yet no word on how much it will cost to add the full bodykit as featured on the Mondeo in the most recent James Bond film, Casino Royale.
