eu am distributie pe lant si dupa ce se stabilizeaza la 750 rpm la propriu nu auzi motorul...trebuie sa te apropii cu urechea de capota si asa se aude un bazait incet. repet...asta dupa ce e incalzit motorul. e un benzinar cu 125 cp. foarte incantat de el :D. focusul imi este diesel 1.8tddi pe curea: cand e cald face ca un tractor , cand e rece face ca un tractor cu toba sport :))....asa ca nu va tare inteleg pe cei care ziceti ca lantul e mai zgomotos

Probabil lantul e mai zgomotos decat cureaua la masini de aceeasi clasa.
La Mondeo s-a acordat o atentie mult mai mare la antifonare si reducerea vibratiilor.

Discutia se refera, sau ar trebui, la motoare de acelasi tip (diesel, benzina) si aceeasi capacitate.
E normal ca un motor diesel sa fie mai zgomotos decat unul pe benzina, chiar daca primul are curea fata de lant la benzina.
Diferentele pot aparea la doua motoare de 1.8 benzina (ex.) cu distributii una pe lant si una pe curea.
Oricum nu cred ca e un criteriu de maxima importanta, eu as vrea sa am distributia pe lant integrala.
Ce ar mai fi, dar nu tsiu daca la toate motoarele se aplica, la unele pe lant daca cumva se rupe lantul auzeam ca nu se intampla altceva negativ la motor, pe cand la unele pe curea, daca se rupe, pistoanele lovesc in supape parca si apar defecte destul de scump de rezolvat, si asta chiar daca schimbi cureaua la timp, tot se poate intampla.

da chiar...stie careva care pot fi consecintele ruperii unui lant in timpul mersului?

Eu stiu ca exista doua tipuri de motoare:
- cu interferenta, daca se rupe distributia, pistoanele lovesc in supape si se indoaie supapele si se pot rupe axele cu came
- fara interferenta, daca se rupe distributia pistoanele nu ajung sa loveasca in supape si scapi fara pagube

Ambele pot sa fie cu lant sau cu curea, nu are importanta.

Se pare ca cele fara interferenta necesita chiulasa mai inalta si mai mult spatiu sub capota. De aceea, am citit ca de prin '95 incoace cam toate sunt cu interferenta pentru a realiza economie de spatiu sub capota.

Nu e chiar asa simplu... O chiulasa mai inalta inseamna si raport de comprimare mai mic. De asemenea inlatimi de ridicare la supape mai mici inseamna sectiuni de curgere mai mici ce vor limita turatia maxima...

Se pare ca toate sunt acum cu interferenta...
