Ce e pe praguri in prima poza mi se pare exagerat.

oricum nu o sa iasa asa pe piata....dar daca scot astia fiesta asta vesela si baga....pe asta....nu or sa aiba vanzari asa mari....astea okioase sunt cele mai misto masini din clasa mica...parerea mea....nu ar trebui sa le modifice....

De unde-i informatia cu Fiesta din poze??? Imi place la nebunie!!! Si daca o baga pe piata peste doi ani, vine tocmai la marele fix pt mine! Un link, ceva, catre originea informatiei/fotografiilor??? PLS!!!...

Sunt poze retusate pe calc, cgi-uri, bazate pe noua Mazda2. Noul Fiesta va arata un pic altfel, nu va fi doar o Mazda 2 cu alte faruri, si va aparea ori in martie 2008 la Geneva (cel mai probabil), ori in toamna viitoare la Paris.

Another production milestone has been achieved today at the Ford plant in Cologne-Niehl when the two millionth vehicle in the Ford Fiesta/Fusion series rolled off the line.

The two millionth vehicle was a Colorado Red Ford Fiesta ST, intended for a customer in Great Britain. Around 74 per cent of the two million vehicles built were Fiestas.

Today the Ford car assembly plant in Cologne is recognised as one of the most efficient in the European automotive industry. In 2006, for example, it was awarded the "Automotive Lean Production Award 2006", an international accolade presented for the first time in December that year.

In 2006 high demand from all over the world for the Ford Fiesta and Ford Fusion meant the Cologne plant set a production record in order to satisfy customer orders. A total of 412,688 vehicles rolled off the production lines that year. The previous production record for the plant was 403,000, achieved in 2005.

Almost 90 per cent of Cologne's output is exported to 52 countries. The five largest markets for the vehicles are Great Britain, Germany, Italy, France and Russia.

But some Cologne-built Ford Fiestas and Ford Fusions travel around half the globe to reach their customers. These far-flung markets include Madagascar, Azerbaijan, Gibraltar, Hong Kong and Mozambique. The Pacific island of Tahiti is considered to be the sales market furthest away from Cologne.

Of the two million Ford Fiestas and Ford Fusions produced since 2002, 1.25 million were equipped with left-hand drive, and 750,000 with right-hand drive.

When production of the current Ford Fiesta and Ford Fusion series began in February 2002 it followed an investment of EUR 410 million to modernize the plant and develop the neighbouring supplier park.

An ongoing series of production efficiencies at the plant has seen daily production increase from 1,200 vehicles in 2002 to 1,950 vehicles today.

A total of 4,200 staff are employed at the Ford Fiesta and Ford Fusion plant of Ford-Werke GmbH in Cologne, with another 13,200 located at the company's other facilities in the city.

Fata de focus, spate de mondeo, garda la sol de fusion (sau pe aproape). Au scos ce era ,,fiesta" din ea. E draguta si asa!

Primele poze. Pacat ca are husoaica aia pe el. Se observa liniile generale de Mazda2 combinata cu noul Kuga si botul de Mondeo. Pare sa arate bine, departe de alura de gogosar a unor masini concurente din clasa mica. :65:

Un concept in genul celor care au prefigurat S-Max si Mondeo break, adica o masina de serie deghizata in prototip, impopotonata cu un body kit impresionant. Varianta de serie se va descotorosi de jantele mari, ornamentele cromate si de unele elemente exagerate din interior, dar in rest asta e masina de serie, noul Fiesta. the new king of style, in clasa mica. IL VREAU! :) 8)

PS Nu se stie.. poate ca noul ST va avea un body kit asemanator cu cel al acestui concept. :twisted:

The next Ford Fiesta will abandon the conservative styling of the current car in favour of the much sleeker, sharper look of this concept car. Described as “hinting at a future small European Ford”, this car gives us the best look yet at the next Fiesta.

Senior Ford design sources have said the new Fiesta puts style and good looks above all other considerations. Ford is also keen point out that the concept previews the design themes for other future small Fords, most notably the next Ka. The biggest visual differences between this car and the production Fiesta will be the height of the roofline, which will be taller. But the rear end is very similar to the real thing, right down to the shape of the window and the roof spoiler. At the front, the concept introduces a new Ford grille, paring the usual trapezoid down to little more than a chrome-trimmed sliver. The bonnet reverses the shape of the Mondeo’s, while the production car’s lights will be smaller. This is Ford’s first attempt at translating its ‘kinetic design’ theme into a small car. The project has been overseen by Ford’s European design director, Martin Smith, and has been designed to create the elements of a car that will be recognisable around the world as a Ford. The new Fiesta will be Ford’s first global car, to be produced and sold in markets as diverse and Mexico and South America. The engineering basics were developed by Mazda for the 2, with which the Fiesta shares its platform. Although easy-to-change panels such the front wings and bumpers will be modified for different markets, the core elements of the design, such as the rake of the windscreen, will remain.

This strategy will also help Ford to improve the profitability of its small cars; traditionally it is hard to make good money from smaller vehicles. By sharing a platform across the world, analysts forecast production of over a million B-cars by 2011.
