* To allow the PCM to relearn, start the engine and run it as close to idle speed as possible until it reaches its normal operating temperature

la temperatura optima de functionare (acul la mijloc)
* Then run it for approximately two minutes at 1200rpm

- pune contactul asa incat sa se aprinda toate becurile pe bord (fara sa pornesti motorul)
* Lock the door using the button on the door handle and then unlock the door (but don't open it) 3 times.
- blocheaza/deblocheaza usile de trei ori consecutiv cu butonul de deasupra clantei soferului (nu deschide usa)
* Turn off the ignition.

If all goes according to plan your doors should now auto lock when you go over a certain speed (about 5-10mph). This will also auto lock the
doors if you reverse away. This mode will be operational until you repeat the above steps to switch it off. It will only work once for each time the
car is started though. In other words, if you unlock the doors to let someone out without turning the engine off, they will not automatically lock
when you move away again.
daca tine la modelul tau smecheria, usile ar trebui sa se blocheze automat de la o anumita viteza (8-16km/h). Valabil si in marsarier.
Dezactivarea smecheriei se face repetand inca odata pasii descrisi. DAr tine odata pentru fiecare pornire a motorului, adica, daca ai plecat,
s-au inchis, te opresti sa iei pe cineva in masina si le deschizi, nu se vor inchide automat.

One-Touch Window Reset - Mk3 - geamurile sa urce automat
To reset the windows, follow these steps: adica se face dupa cum urmeaza
* Hold the switch down until the window is all the way down
- tine butonul jos pana ce geamul coboara de tot
* Release the switch then hold down again for 5 seconds
- lasa butonul si apasa-l iarasi in jos timp de 5 secunde
* Press the switch so the window goes all the way up
- tine de buton sa urce geamul complet
* Release the switch and press it up, again for 5 seconds
- lasa butonul si apasa-l iarasi in sus timp de 5 secunde
The window will now be set for one touch and global opening/closing. Repeat this procedure for each individual window.

Turning Off Seatbelt Reminder - oprirea beepului de centura
Before starting this procedure, make sure that...inainte sa te apuci, asigurat-te ca:
The handbrake's on - frana de mana e trasa
It's in Park or neutral. - e scoasa din viteza
Ignition is off. - contactul NU e pus
All doors are closed (and you're in the car). - toate usile sunt inchise si tu esti in masina (stupid nu?)
All the seatbelts are unbuckled. - toate centurile sunt desfacute, adica necuplate
The headlamps are off. - farurile sunt stinse
Deactivating/Activating - activare/dezactivare
• Turn the ignition switch to position II. (Do not start the engine).
- pune contactul pe pozitia 2, dar nu porni motorul (becuri de pe bord aprinse adica..)
• Wait until the safety belt warning indicator turns off. (Approximately one to two minutes).
- asteapta pana ce indicatorul de centura de pe bord se stinge (cam un minut, 2 zic ei)
Note: The next 3 steps must be completed within 60 seconds or the procedure must be repeated.
URMATORII 3 PASI TREBUIE EXECUTATI IN MAX. 60 DE SECUNDE SAU POTI SA O IEI DE LA CAPAT
• Buckle then unbuckle the safety belt three times, ending with the safety belt unbuckled.
- CUPLEZI/DECUPLEZI CENTURA DE 3 ORI
• Turn the headlamps ON then OFF.
- APRINDE/STINGE FARURILE O SINGURA DATA
• Buckle then unbuckle the safety belt three times ending with the safety belt unbuckled. After this step the safety belt warning indicator will be
illuminated for three seconds.
- CUPLEZI/DECUPLEZI CENTURA DE 3 ORI. DUPA ACEASTA MANEVRA, MARTORUL DE CENTURA DE PE BORD SE APRINDE
TIMP DE 3 SECUNDE.
• Within seven seconds of the safety belt warning indicator turning off, buckle then unbuckle the safety belt. This will enable the belt minder if
disabled or disable belt minder if enabled.
- IN DECURS DE 7 SECUNDE DUPA CE MARTORUL S-A STINS, CUPLEZI/DECUPLEZI CENTURA O DATA.
CU ASTA BEEPAITOARE SE ACTIVEAZA DACA NU A FOST ACTIVA PANA ACUM SI VICEVERSA.
• The following sequence will confirm the belt minder is enabled:
URMATOARE SECVENTA CONFIRMA DACA BEEPAITOAREA E ACTIVATA:
o The safety belt warning indicator flashes four times per second for three seconds.
- MARTORUL PALPAIE DE 4 ORI / SECUNDA TIMP DE 3 SECUNDE
o Three seconds with the safety belt warning indicator off.
- 3 SECUNDE PAUZA
o The safety belt warning indicator flashes four times per second for three seconds again.
- MARTORUL PALPAIE DE 4 ORI / SECUNDA TIMP DE 3 SECUNDE*
• The safety belt warning indicator flashing four times per second for three seconds provides confirmation of belt minder disabled.
* CONFIRMA CA AI REUSIT SA II DAI IN GURA
• After confirmation, the deactivation/activation procedure is complete
- DUPA ACEASTA CONFIRMARE, PROCEDURA E COMPLETA
Note: If the vehicle doesn't have a seatbelt warning light, use the SRS (airbag) warning indicator instead
